I am a Chicago based angel investor and startup advisor who is constantly experimenting and exploring how best I can make an impact in my community.
My career arc has roughly gone as follows:
A few years back, I also began angel investing, largely inspired by my father (serial entrepreneur and investor), the proliferation of investing platforms such as Angel List, and the explosion of no-code and AI tools that allowed for companies to be built for lower costs than ever.
At the same time, through my own personal network and community, I was inspired by (and somewhat jealous of) the number of entrepreneurs who took it upon themselves to start a business or nonprofit in 2020 - 2022, despite the many challenges (helpful retrospective as of 2024 is here)
Therefore, in mid 2023, I decided to go out on my own, combining my experience in engineering, consulting, and tech operations with my enthusiasm and passion for startup investing. I am excited to support entrepreneurs and small business owners with strategy and operations expertise, direct funding, or some combination thereof.
